- The Price of Beauty By:-Austin Thomas
People who seek treatment by a cosmetic dentist regularly do so for aesthetic reasons, not actual medical reasons. As a result, most insurance plans will not cover the costs of a cosmetic dental procedure, leaving it up to the patient to try and find a way to pay for it himself. Cosmetic dentistry is very costly, and many who would like to have procedures done just can't afford it. Partial coverage may be available for braces, veneers, or caps if the plan is submitted to the insurance company prior to the procedure, but will still leave the rest on the patient to cover the balance.
