Blog commenting is one critical factor if you would like to make a name for yourself on the wide web. If you're reading this article possibilities are you have already figured out that you have gotta brand yourself, right? (If not, stay tuned because I'm going to make a post about the reasons that you need to be doing that.)
Why You Are The Main Player
That means all the marketing puzzle that you post online got to be "you" the REAL you.
You see so many "self branders" that are making the mistake of outsourcing things such as commenting on blogs; thinking the more a comment that are balled up all round the World Wide World of internet the better. That's true only to a certain degree. (Actually, some celebrities are outsourcing the project of putting out tweets just to sound cool and clever at the same time. Can you believe that?)
When you leave a comment on a blog you're leaving a "footmark" of yours behind. Nobody, I mean nobody can leave a post like YOU. If you hire someone to do this task for you: A: They won't bother what's left behind B: It won't sound like you or feel like you, and whoever follows the link back to your website soon will uncover that something doesn't add up. And that's my friends, is how you losetrustworthiness!
So, my suggestion would be : Do the darn commenting yourself! - I know it takes a "hella" long time, but you want to do it right... right?? Well, that's the way to do it right. Period.
Nothing Beats Honesty
I strongly beg against agreeing with "all" the articles that you read. And that's all I see wherever I go. That's just BS! Do NOT get me wrong here. I'm not saying by any means for you to get out there and rip everybody a new ....you know what.. but be real. If you read something you don't agree with... I say challenge it! Ask questions because that's what strikes up real conversations. Allow yourself to be open to discussion and thought provoking when commenting on blogs.
I never learned from a man who agreed with me.
- Robert A. Heinlein
Assume a party where a person agrees with everything that's being said. It would not only be FAKE but also Goring, right?
On the other hand we don't want to be "the bad guy" but rather be adored and admired. You've gotta find a fine line between being acceptable and hard.
Do not search for a chance to object; the opportunity to do so will picture itself sooner or later.
Get authentic, be honorable, and know what you stand by!
