The Madden NFL line of football games have been alive for an excess of 15 years. It is a football fan's favorite game to play. The game sells more copies than any other franchise for many years in a row. The games closest competition is beaten by several miles and are basically not even on the same level. Tournaments are held every year for the extra indulged madden fan/player. You can expect a whole lot of people to sign up for madden 11 tournaments.

The greatest and most competitive Madden players unite every year to compete for prizes. Cash prizes can be up in the high thousands of dollars. There are also gift prizes that are usually a game console or some other wanted item. There are several tournaments held across the country of different skill levels and sizes. You should have no problem finding one near you and of your interest.

The folks at Electronic Arts (creators of madden) have truly mastered the art of gaming. They know what the gamer wants and they react to it. The game has the most extensive and in-depth game modes out there. They've done a great job making the game play feel real.

You might as well make some money from doing something you were going to do anyways. If you think you got the skills and heart to go up against the best then prove it. Its about time you start playing against some real competition and stop beating up on your little brother. Show the world who's the real champion and make some money while your at it.

EA does hold a yearly tournament, but it is extremely hard to qualify. You will no longer be playing against your little brother or sister. You'll be playing against people who live, breathe, and sweat the game. You wouldn't want to embarrass yourself on the big screen.

To be successful in the tourney you have to prepare yourself. Playing against the computer on "All Madden" is good practice. If you are one of those who shy away from playing the computer, then the tourney is not for you. You shouldn't sign up if you are scared or unable to beat the computer on the highest level. You must be able to beat the computer on a consistent basis to even think you have a chance to compete.

If you are a true fan then you cant deny you have imagined winning a major madden tournament. It is almost equal to winning a super bowl ring. All of your hard work and preparation, all of those hours on your sofa in front of your tv will finally be worth something. Your wife could no longer call you lazy.

Playing it becomes your life. Your pride and joy becomes that controller. You begin to exercise your fingers and massage your thumbs. All of this in an effort to become a champion. To have national bragging rights and a sense of pride.
